Isn't it sweet how pholcus stay with their young? At least until they boot them out of the house when they grow...
It's a great joy to watch them with their offspring, isn't it?
Note: Technically, being an arachnid, spiders aren't bugs. Bugs are specifically insects of the Order Hemiptera (identified by their piercing proboscis type mouthparts).
Don't worry, I agree with you for spiders and Insects classification. The reason of my mistake is just a lack of english vocabulary. For me, "bugs" are all the small and enoying little creatures (and not only insects.) but I may be wrong.
... but what's the happy event!?! For me, I think that it would involve popping the top on a brand new bottle of RaidTM
And one other thing that I actually like about your photo... it shows spiders in a way that I (and probably others) don't usually think of them - acting parentally.
