Marbled White butterfly (Melanargia galathea) in strong wind.

Look at the wings, you can see how long was his way before this flower.
It was shaking hard but the butterfly was clinging. His end may be near.

I would return on this gallery. I like this photograph and I would like to see the remainder. :+fav: for your butterfly

Normally, wind would have ruined the picture, but you managed to use it as an advantage... It's easy to see how the butterfly has to hold on. Very well done! :)

Brilliant Jean-Michel, must have been difficult to achieve this quality in those windy conditions.................

Beautiful capture.
They are a very common species here - and about the only one I've seen this summer, with a few exceptions. Its wings aren't that bad, I've seen worse, in particular this time of the year.
[link] can't get much worse than this, can it?

Nice shot, you've captured a great feeling of movement with the background and a butterfly that looks very windswept - your efforts were well rewarded!

Very nice. It is not easy to get a sharp shot in a strong wind.

To be honest, i try quite a lot of shot, but the focus was missed in most case. This one is quite a lucky one.
